A community non profit boxing club based in Stockport that train at Matthew Hatton’s Gym. The club has been running for 21 years in January 2020.
Mick Kenyon and other volunteers, give up their time to provide a fantastic sporting environment for all, particularly local youngsters. I’ve had the good fortune of going to a couple of the training sessions to meet and photograph the coaches and the boxers. I’m also looking forward to attending the ‘One Step Beyond’ Amateur Boxing Night at Stockport Masonic Guildhall as the event photographer on the 25th April 2020.
Those who volunteer in the community to provide various sport for youngsters, will know the time and effort that goes into providing a safe and enjoyable sports environment, so when you see Mick and the gang collecting or bag packing to raise funds make sure you put a couple of quid in their bucket !
