Indie Week Manchester - 10th - 14th October 2018

Well after a busy couple of weeks and a few days away, I’ve finally managed to get round to blogging Indie Week Manchester. Mark Armor of Dusty Pop and all the people/companies involved did a fantastic job of organising so many venues, to host many brilliant artists and bands. I managed to shoot for 4 of the 5 nights at several venues and was surprised to see how far many of the musicians had travelled. Italy , Brazil, Sardinia and even Burnley !

Apologies to those who I didn’t get to photograph, but it was impossible to get to every venue. I met some fantastic people working for the event , many of whom were volunteers, family and friends who were supporting the acts and people who had simply come out for a great night out. I have a couple of personal favourites from the nights, but I’ll keep my thoughts to myself, other than to say that I loved Izzie Walsh who was a worthy winner and very humble, when she was awarded the winning prize of a trip to Indie week in Canada (Need a photographer? :) )

I’ve posted a few from the early nights here and also most of the bands from the finals night at The Bread Shed. Well done to all, it was a pleasure to photograph you all, listen to some great music and talent and meet fantastic people.

Hope you like the images and please give it a share on your media.

Paul
